Great experience rock climbing with High Rock Adventures! Steve and Ryan taught us fun facts about the plants and trees on our hike out to the rocks. They were very helpful with our first outdoor climbing experience and tailored the adventure to our skill level. Steve was very responsive and accommodating with the booking process for an early November climb. Weather cooperated with sunshine and perfect temps! The High Rock House is a beautiful starting point to a great adventure. We will be booking additional tours!!Lynda N
It was just an awesome time. I had never done anything like it before and was a bit nervous but the guides were so encouraging and you could tell they truly loved it and had the knowledge. After that first rappel I was hooked. We got to try four different rappels in our session and the views and terrain for each one was really different from the last. The place was just beautiful – a really great place to hang out : ) It was a really easy drive from Columbus, a perfect afternoon adventure. I am already ready to go again. Can’t wait!K. Walker
What a great time!!! They stayed in contact with us leading up to our winter rappelling, accommodated a small group, were flexible with dates and adding people to our party, and showed us so much about the surrounding areas! Wonderful experience!
Steve and company are top notch!C. Mueller
We had such a great time with our High Rock Adventure guides! Can’t imagine a more enjoyable way to spend an afternoon than on the “Eco Adventure” we experienced last weekend. This is a casual walk in the woods with an intellectual twist, as the guides take up hills, through rock formations, over “sky bridges,” and through caves that look like underwater coral reefs — all while teaching you about everything from the plants used to make soft drinks to the ancient river that helped shape the land. I’ve taken many beautiful walks in the Hocking Hills, but never one that brought so much context to the rocks, plants, animals and history of this beautiful part of Ohio. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone of any age.J. Kane
