NATURAL ROCK CLIMBING!

High Rock Adventures is home to beautiful natural sandstone cliffs and rocks with climbing routes for all skill levels and cliffs from 35 feet to just under 100 feet. Too many hikers at the state parks? Join us then! We are the only Hocking Hills company offering climbing, rappelling and nature tours on pristine private property. We’re also the only company in the region using state-of-the-art Petzl stainless steel anchoring systems. No trees are damaged and you can climb in confidence knowing our steel anchors could hold the weight of a large van going over the cliff.

No matter if this is your very first climb or you’ve climbed for years, our guides will match your skill level for an amazing climbing experience at High Rock Adventures in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. Keep in mind that climbing on natural rock is slightly more challenging than climbing on an indoor wall. Advance reservations are required. We provide experienced guides, safety briefing, training, and all the equipment – including helmet, harness and climbing shoes. [Age, weight, and mobility restrictions apply, see High Rock Tour Qualifications.]

First we’ll meet at beautiful High Rock House for a safety briefing and tour instructions, then we’ll gear up and head out. On your way to the climbing areas through fern-covered mature forest, your guide will share interesting tidbits about native plants, trees and the geology that make the Hocking Hills so awesome. At each climb your guide will hook you into the ropes and instruct you on getting started while providing tips along your climbing route. Read below for more details on each tour option. Climb on!
